The BiOrgaMCT project was presented during a working meeting with German companies and industry chambers as part of "Bridging Innovation: Bulgaria & Saxony-Anhalt in Partnership."
On May 12, the opening event of the series of events under the title “Bridging Innovation: Bulgaria & Saxony-Anhalt in Partnership” took place, accompanied by the hybrid 4th meeting of the European Innovation Collective with its members from Germany, Spain, Serbia, Poland, and Bulgaria. The international event aimed to strengthen the partnership in the field of innovation, business and science development between Bulgaria and Saxony-Anhalt region in Germany.
During the opening event, Assoc. Prof. Dimitar Peshev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Activities, presented the structure of UCTM and outlined the possible prospects for intensifying cooperation in science and business between UCTM and representatives of institutions and companies from Germany, Bulgaria and Serbia. Afterward, Dobromir Dobrev presented the BiOrgaMCT project – key research areas and international activities, research with potential for innovation or knowledge/intellectual property transfer to the business. Teodora Valcheva, marketing expert at the Technology Transfer Center at UCTM, presented the main activities within the Center’s Strategic Program, focusing on the results achieved so far.
The event program continued with 4th meeting of the European Innovation Collective, Hybrid (on-site and online) with representatives of companies and academic organizations from Germany, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, and Serbia. In the afternoon, participants visited UCTM laboratories, Bulgaria’s first green mobility hydrogen charging station, and National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies, Campus „Geo Milev“.
Thanks to the productive meetings during “Bridging Innovation: Bulgaria & Saxony-Anhalt in Partnership,” participants exchanged experiences, identified working topics, and explored opportunities for new partnerships.
