About the event
On June 4, 2024, a business discussion on the topic “Smart Textiles” was held in the building of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which brought together eminent scientists and leading representatives of the textile sector. The organization of the discussion was commissioned and financed by UCTM in connection with the implementation of project: BG-RRP-2.004-0002-C03, “BiOrgaMCT” (Bioactive Organic and Inorganic Advanced Materials and Clean Technologies) under the procedure “Establishment of a network of research universities in Bulgaria”.
The main highlight of the event were the presented innovative solutions in the textile and clothing sector. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Grabcheva from the Department of “Textiles, Leather and Fuels” at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, presented the latest achievements, supporting the theme of the integration of sustainable practices and innovative technologies in the industry.
The forum not only provided a valuable platform for discussion and exchange of ideas, but also opened the doors for potential business collaborations.
