About the course
The training course on Structural Analysis of Constructions and Industrial Equipment, organized by Cluster Hoisting Devices, is being held within 30 academic hours between July 3 and July 15 at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The course is intended for lecturers and research scientists interested in engineering simulations for the design of industrial equipment and various types of structural analysis of constructions such as contacts and bolted connections in flange joints, clamps, pump housings, and pipe assemblies under multi-step loads.
The classes include both lectures and practical exercises to reinforce the knowledge acquired on topics such as geometric model preparation, introduction to finite element structural analysis, finite element discretization, linear static, parametric, thermal, multi-step, and dynamic modal analysis.
The training is commissioned and funded by UCTM in connection with the implementation of Contract No: BG-RRP-2.004-0002-C03, “BiOrgaMCT” (Bioactive Organic and Inorganic Advanced Materials and Clean Technologies) under procedure: BG-RRP-2.004 – Creation of a network of research universities in Bulgaria under the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan and the activities under work package 5: Intellectual property protection and technology transfer.
